Part-time cook at Preschool at Open Door Ministries

Description:

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for enrolled children; prepare substitute items for children on restricted diets • Plate all food for breakfast and lunch; prepare necessary food items for afternoon snack • Practice safe food-handling techniques in food preparation and storage • Plan for and purchase all food and supplies needed to provide food service • Maintain weekly food and supply receipts as required for administrative records, budget purposes, and CACFP documentation • Keep a daily meal production record following the requirements of the CACFP • Complete monthly menus for all breakfasts, lunches and snacks that meet CACFP meal pattern requirements • Ensure that all food is compliant with CACFP, food safety, and manufacturer guidelines • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen, pantry, and storage area; wash and sanitize all items used for food preparation • Attend CACFP trainings and workshops as needed to remain up-to-date • Demonstrate and model professionalism; maintain confidentiality • Lead in being a heartfelt team member of the Open Door Ministries staff • Show evidence of a daily walk with Christ • Show respect for the leadership and members of Open Door Fellowship • Cover those in your area of leadership with prayer
