Theological

  • Iliff School of Theology - Taylor Library
    Located near the campus of the University of Denver, this library can supplement resources in certain areas not heavily collected here at the Carey S. Thomas Library. You may check out items from Iliff using a library card they will issue you upon proof of your student status here at Denver Seminary (show them your Denver Seminary library card with valid student sticker). In addition to book items, this library also carries journal titles not found in the Carey S. Thomas Library.

    1300 S. Steele (between University and Colorado)

NOTE:  The Cardinal Stafford Library will be closed to visitors from May 14 through June 12, 2012.

  • Prospector Union Catalog
    Provided by the regional consortium. Colorado Alliance, Prospector allows you to search all of the major regional library catalogs at once, including many listed below.
  • Auraria Campus Library
    Includes University of Colorado Denver; Metropolitan State College of Denver; Community College of Denver. Users with a valid Colorado ID card (drivers license or vanilla ID card) may check out materials from the library. Reference works, journals, and electronic resources are available to anyone using the library. Search their online catalog to find a listing of available journal titles.
  • University of Denver - Penrose Library
    Although this is a private institution, you may use the library provided you have a signed referral card from a local library (including Denver Seminary). Print out the form and list the item(s) you wish to use in DU's library. Present the form at our circulation desk for Librarian signature.  Check out privileges can be arranged through DU by showing your valid Denver Seminary library card or Public Library card.
  • University of Colorado Boulder Libraries
    The University Libraries in Boulder, while a further distance from the Seminary than the Auraria campus, may have additional library resources pertaining to your subject.
