Associate Small Groups Pastor at Parkway Fellowship

Description:

Provide administrative support and pastoral leadership for the Small Groups Ministry under the direction of the Small Groups Pastor.

Responsibilities:
•Recruit Small Group Leaders and other volunteers
•Collect and organize logistical information about Small Groups
•Create and produce Small Groups catalog each semester (Fall, Spring, Summer)
•Promote Small Groups during the enrollment period of each semester
•Record Small Group sign-ups in our software
•Contact Parkway members who have not joined a Small Group
•Support Small Group Leaders during the semester
•Organize and manage church-owned curriculum
•Keep Small Groups literature updated (leader manuals, curriculum library etc.)
•Constantly look for ways to improve the Small Groups ministry

Qualifications:
•Growing relationship with Christ
•Working knowledge of God’s Word
•Familiarity with books 'Activate' by Nelson Searcy, 'Purpose Driven Church' by Rick Warren
•Commitment to the vision of the Small Groups Ministry at Parkway Fellowship
•Ability to be flexible, and balance many time-sensitive responsibilities simultaneously
•Ability to work with people and motivate them
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Administratively gifted
•Must become a member of Parkway Fellowship
•Must align with the personnel manual of Parkway Fellowship
