Sales Assistant at Recover Records

Description:

Interns will learn how to manage and promote the various revenue streams involved in and operating a successful record label. They will do public relations/sales related tasks including but not limited to representing an established producer, A&R work (maintaining communication with signed artists and reaching out to new bands), as well as the opportunity to participate in guerilla marketing which will entail brand promotion and merchandise distribution at concerts and events. They will also proactively work to expand our internship and employment opportunities across the country. Making creative use of social networking sites and other forms of social media will also be an essential part of this position. If the interns so choose, they will also have the opportunity to be part of a reality show, will be documenting the rise of Recover Records daily. Though our studios are located in Boston, MA, the internship can be conducted online using Skype. Recover Records is excited to have the opportunity to work with people from all over the country as they will bring their local culture and diverse ideas to the company. They will also be important in executing effective guerilla marketing campaigns that will reach a nationwide audience in addition to their unique knowledge of musicians in their area.
