Ismael has been involved with the IDEAL Institute since its inception in 2005. He graduated from the Plan Ministerial two years ago and now volunteers with IDEAL, helping with the registration table and with class set-up. He also serves as a Sunday school teacher at Vida Abundante, his home church, and leads an English-speaking Kids Club with his wife at New Life Fellowship in
“IDEAL has not only helped me to better understand the Word, but it’s helped me to understand my life,” says Ismael. IDEAL classes especially helped him to better understand the nature of Christian marriage and his passion now lies in counseling. “We have a big need for quality Christian counselors in the Hispanic community,” Ismael says. In the future Ismael hopes take more classes on counseling in order to help other couples experience healthy marriages.
