Friends of IDEAL - Pray
We at Hispanic Initiatives believe that God’s most powerful movements in the world come as a result to prayer. We believe that, if we pray, he will certainly answer our requests (Matt. 7:7-8). That is why prayer is the bedrock of all our work and efforts. Based on Jesus´ parable of the Persistent Widow (Luke 18:1-8), we desire to build a team of 3,000 diligent prayer partners who will commit to praying for Hispanic Initiatives on regular basis.
Since prayer is so important to our work, we take your commitment to praying for Hispanic Initiatives seriously. Please click here to download a “Prayer Covenant.” On your Prayer Covenant, you will promise to pray for specific areas of Hispanic Initiatives on either a daily or weekly basis for a specific amount of time (e.g. 3 months, 1 year). Please send it back to Hispanic Initiatives, or turn it in at class so we can track progress toward the goal of 3,000 prayer partners.

Please pray:
(1) For the Future of Hispanic Initiatives:
- For God’s financial provision to advance our three existing programs and the pastoral program (PAP)
- For the establishment of a program for pastors
- For the establishment of an academic program in Spanish
- For financial provision for the Director’s immigration process
- For the leadership of Denver Seminary's new president Dr. Mark Young
(2) For the IDEAL Institute:
- For the leadership of Plan Basico and Plan Ministerial students in their churches
- For the spiritual impact that these academic studies will have on the life of students
- For the impact that the classes will have on student's lives, families, and work places
- For encouragement, strength and economic provision for students during the academic year
(3) For the Professors:
- That the Lord would provide more professors willing to be a part of the IDEAL faculty
- That the professors would maintain their high pedagogical quality
- For the spiritual health of the professors and their families
(4) For the Oasis Women’s Program
- That the Lord would provide a team of teachers and volunteer leaders who are experienced and trained to teach
- For the spiritual impact of Oasis on women’s groups in local churches
- For students who are participating in Oasis this winter
- For economic provision for the development of the program
- For the health and encouragement of the Director of the program
(5) For the Radio Program “Against the Flow”
- For the spiritual impact of the program on listeners in Colorado and California
- For wisdom for the production team
- For the program to be broadcasted on additional stations in Denver and South Carolina
- For the wisdom of the Spirit for Wimer and Vioneth Ramirez
(6) For the Hispanic Community
- That the Lord would give us the opportunity to effectively serve the needs of the church
- For the spiritual growth of the pastors of the community
- For comprehensive immigration reform which is helpful to the Hispanic people
