I came to Denver Seminary four years ago (2011) after completing my undergraduate degree at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. I've spent the majority of my life growing up in Maine, enjoying the Atlantic Ocean, Appalachian Mountain Range, and the (recent) success of Boston sport teams. Although I miss New England and my loyalty ultimate lies with the Red Sox and Patriots, living in the midwest and now in the shadow of the western mountain range has brought exciting adventures of its own.
I originally came to seminary in order to build a strong theological foundation before pursuing PhD work in American Religious History. However, after completing more than half my studies (MA New Testament Biblical Studies, and Apologetics & Ethics), I might be persuaded to consider a different course of post-graduate work. I feel called to teach in higher education, but exactly where God will lead me is still unknown.
For the past year and half I have had the privilege of serving with the staff here at Denver Seminary, first as a administrative assistant for the Advancement Department, and now as the webmaster and communications assistant for the Communications Department. It is gratifying to be able to participate in helping the seminary run smoothly and provide a top-notch educational experience for current and prospective seminary students.
