Description:
The primary purpose of the Family Pastor of Kids Ministry is to provide leadership, direction, and management over all aspects of the family ministry for kids. The Family Pastor of Kids Ministry will serve as the chief leader, innovator, and communicator of children's ministries at The Waters. While all ministries at The Waters will function within the framework of the larger church vision, the Family Pastor will seek to creatively implement that vision in a relevant and effective manner with children from birth through 5th Grade (or age 10).
Currently, more than 50 children take part in the weekend Children’s Ministry with most in the 1st - 5th grade range. However, high growth is anticipated at The Waters over the next ten years particularly with young families. In addition, future plans include the establishment of a permanent facility with the possibility of additional sites in the coming years. Given the demographics of Katy and the track record of growth at The Waters, it is expected that the Family and Children's Ministries will experience high growth in the next few years.
