We arrived at the East Ridge route a little early to get a jump on the winter storm that was forecasted for early afternoon. The forecast was calling for 40 mph winds gusting to 60 mph and blowing snow. The forecast was spot on. |

Here I am on top of Quandary Peak at 14,265 feet. The winds stopped just enough to snap this picture and then it was quickly back down the mountain. The Wayward Bottle is in my pack…really it is! |
