Two Rivers Church is a rapidly growing church in west Knoxville, TN. For the past 15 years we have been reaching our community with the good news that our God of love is near and he wants to transform our lives! We believe that as God’s children we are called to worship him in Spirit and in Truth. We feel called to multiply ministries and leaders locally and globally, and this includes training interns to be the best pastors possible.

-Our high school ministry has over 250 students regularly involved and is averaging 200 on a weekly basis at our FUEL gatherings. We have experienced explosive growth over the past several years and need a gifted man to add to our staff team.

-You will get to work extensively with our incredible staff, (HS Pastor, Female Intern, HS Ministry Assistant & HS Worship Director) high school students, and volunteer leaders.

-We plan and lead domestic and foreign mission trips each year. Past trips have included Jacksonville, West Virginia, New York, Mississippi, Wyoming, and Guatemala.

-You will be able to grow through Intern Development, which includes mentoring by our senior staff leadership.

-You will get experience in all of the ministry essentials including counseling, teaching, leading volunteers, organizing, and leading ministry events.

-You will lead a small group with other volunteer leaders.

-Knoxville is a great area to live. We are 20 minutes from Downtown and the University of Tennessee, and are a day trip away from Asheville, Atlanta, and Nashville. We are also within flying distance from Hawaii, Paris, and China.

Compensation:
• Salary - $13,200
• Free housing
• Monthly stipend for health insurance

Qualifications:
• Male
• College degree
• Previous Student Ministry Volunteer or Student Leadership Experience


Weekly Involvement in:
• Personal spiritual disciplines
• Set office time
• Personal and staff reading/discussion
• Staff meetings
• Relational ministry to kids
• Ministering to adult volunteers
• Intern training
• Planning meetings


Hours:
Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Commitment:
Two-Year Internship
