Description:

We are looking for a godly man, mature in his faith, with a heart for relational ministry and a solid theological grounding. The person filling this position will be sensitive to WBC’s history and context and committed to its future ministry and direction. He will need to operate well as part of a team focused on discipling families and individuals in a coordinated, intentional, relational way. The primary focus for this position is encouraging and equipping Youth Ministry volunteers through intentional relational connections. The person who successfully fills this position will be heavily focused on encouraging and pastoring small group leaders God-ward so they might effectively minister to the youth in our congregation and around the community. Additionally, the person who fills this position will inevitably spend some time teaching youth, although some of the teaching may be delegated to other teachers and leaders under the oversight of the Youth Pastor when appropriate. There will also be some administrative tasks inherent to this position, although most of the administrative tasks will be handled by other members of the staff team.
