Camp and Shared Services Operations Intern at Youth for Christ/USA

Description:

The National Service Center of Youth for Christ/USA located in Englewood, Colorado is seeking a Camp Operations and Shared Services Intern for the summer of 2013. The internship offers the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a Christian non-profit organization, especially in area of camping ministry and general operations. The intern will provide administrative assistance for the operations team, including camp registration, accounting, background check processing, coordination of travel, website maintenance, various printing projects and more. The operations intern may also assist in moving projects forward in other departments within Shared Services.

The intern should be an undergraduate student in their junior or senior year working towards a degree in business administration, youth ministry or similar. The internship start and end dates are flexible, with an approximate June start and August end. The intern will be asked to work anywhere between 30-40 hours per week.

This is an unpaid internship, though the intern can raise financial support to earn a stipend.

The intern may also have the opportunity to attend a YFCamp to assist with merchandise sales and other operations functions, if they raise financial support to cover the expense of attending the camp.
